MDAO-Agt ARCADE

Released in the arcades in 1981, Donkey Kong was not only Nintendo's first real smash hit for the company, but marked the introduction for two of their most popular mascots: Mario (originally "Jumpman") and Donkey Kong.

Donkey Kong is an action game with a great ape, along with Mario, who climbs four different industrial-themed floors (construction site, cement factory, elevator-themed floors, removal of beams posts). to save his lover Pauline before time runs out. When the stud is removed from the last level, Donkey Kong collapses and the two lovers reunite. From there, the level will start again with more difficulty.

Along the way, Mario must dodge the constant stream of barrels, fireballs and spring weights. Mario isn't as powerful as other upcoming games, but you can find a hammer that can destroy crates and fireballs in a limited amount of time. Additionally, Mario can also find Pauline's hats, bags and umbrellas as additional bonus points.

Donkey Kong is also famous for being one of the first full-length narrative stories in video game format, told in simple cut scenes to extend the story. It's also important to note that in most of the original Coinop game conversions for consoles and PCs in the early 1980s, Donkey Kong only used two or three original levels, where the concrete factory was often used.
